ShortTab^™

ShortTab started out of necessity. Inflation and rising costs have squeezed everyone, the neighbors trying to stretch a paycheck, and the local restaurants and bars trying to keep their doors open through it. We’ve watched too many of those doors close for good.

We wanted to build something that helps both sides at once: a community where people look out for each other by sharing the deals actually worth knowing about, while giving the local businesses behind those deals more reason to stick around. More visibility, more regulars, more reasons to stay open.

We also think finding a great deal should be a little fun. That’s why ShortTab is built around points, rank, and badges, not just a list of coupons. Finding and sharing deals earns you status in the community, the same way helping a neighbor should.

Our hope is to grow into a platform that gives back directly: highlighting and showcasing the local businesses that need it most, running promotions built around them, and eventually offering real financial support. Exactly what that looks like is still taking shape, but supporting the local businesses that make a neighborhood worth living in is the whole reason ShortTab exists.
